The Groom Prep: A Morning with Lee and His Best Men

I recently had the pleasure of stepping in to photograph the groom prep for Lee’s big day, while Natalie Lauren Photography handled the main event. It was a fantastic change of pace and a truly fun morning.

The day started at the Leagate, where Lee and his three best men had stayed the night before. When I arrived, the lads were just finishing up breakfast. I dove right in, capturing the details: the shoes, the custom shot glasses, and the personalised whiskey for each of the groomsmen.

Getting that interaction often gets missed on a wedding day, and that's the lads showing off how much they care for each other, but in their own way.

Once they started getting ready, the focus shifted to Lee interacting with his groomsmen and putting on his suit. Getting that interaction often gets missed on a wedding day, and that's the lads showing off how much they care for each other, but in their own way.

Before we knew it, we had some time to kill before heading to the church, so we stepped outside for a few shots. It was just good old-fashioned fun—sunglasses, toasts, and plenty of banter.

The ceremony at St Thomas' Church in Wyberton was full of emotion from start to finish. I loved the way the bridal party entered together, with each bridesmaid walking arm in arm with a groomsman before Marie made her entrance with her Dad.

It was an incredibly enjoyable morning and a great place for a shoot. From what I’ve seen so far, Natalie Lauren Photography did an absolutely fantastic job with the rest of the day. I'm thrilled with how these shots turned out!
